The Administrative Staff:

Executive Director:  Michael S. Bryan Sr., BA

Mr. Bryan has been the Executive Director of H.S.A. Counseling, Inc. since March of 1991.  Prior to joining H.S.A. Mr. Bryan was Executive Director of the Clare Center a subsidiary of St. Joseph's Hospital in Lancaster.  Mr. Bryan also Directed White Deer Run of Lancaster for 2 years in 2001 and 2002.  Prior to coming to Lancaster County, he was the Command Master Chief and D&A counselor at the Navy Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Honolulu, HI.  Mr. Bryan is a past Oral Board Evaluator for the Pennsylvania Chemical Abuse Certification Board and received his degree from Chaminade University of Honolulu.  He is currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program at Liberty University working towards licensure as a professional counselor.

Clinical Director:  Bradley R. Laird, CAC

Mr. Laird has been the Clinical Director of H.S.A. Counseling, Inc. since March of 1991.  Prior to joining H.S.A. Mr. Laird was the Continuing Care Coordinator for the Clare Center.  While at H.S.A. Mr. Laird worked for two years as Clinical Director @ White Deer Run of Lancaster and also was Director of Lancaster General Hospital's level 4 D&A treatment program in Columbia.  

Administrative Director:  Beth A. Bryan

Beth joined H.S.A. as the Administrative Director in November of 1991.  Beth is responsible for all aspects of the administration of the agency.  She handles, Accounts Payable and Payroll, and oversees the Accounts Receivable functions.  Beth also manages the administrative staff.  Beth is responsible for all third party billing and works closely with the Board of Directors, Department heads and the agencies Accountant to ensure compliance with general accounting principals as well as all applicable local, state and federal regulations.  

Office Manager:  Tiffany Ream

Tiffany joined H.S.A. in August 1998.  She has steadily accepted greater responsibility and today handles the day to day management of H.S.A.'s administrative office in Lancaster.  Tiffany works closely with Beth and manages the accounts receivables functions of the agency.   She also handles all facets of patient scheduling and supervises the administrative staff in Lancaster.  

Administrative Assistant:  Robert Bard

Bob recently joined the staff of H.S.A. as an administrative assistant.  His primary responsibilities are conducting telephone intakes and assisting clients in scheduling appointments as well as general office duties

The Clinical Staff:

Clinical Supervisor:  Deb Bard, B.A., CAC

Deb joined H.S.A. in 1992 as a D&A Counselor.  Prior to joining H.S.A. Deb was the supervisor of the YWCA's rape crisis and sexual assault program in Lancaster.  Deb has been a valued staff member always eager to learn and grow as evidenced by securing certification as and Addictions Counselor with the Pennsylvania Chemical Abuse Certification Board and he recent completion of Clinical Supervision training.  Deb work's closely with the Clinical Director providing direct clinical supervision to many of the agencies D&A counseling staff.  Deb is also a valued member of the agencies management team working closely with the Lancaster County Drug & Alcohol Commission as well as the local Children & Youth agency.

Drug & Alcohol Counselor:  Patricia Whitaker, MHS, LPC, CAC

Drug & Alcohol Counselor:  Ned Zielasko, MEd, CAC

Drug & Alcohol Counselor:  Jack Pacewicz, BSW, CAC

Drug & Alcohol Counselor:  Lucretia Stein, BA

Drug & Alcohol Counselor:  Wendy Troutman, BS

Drug & Alcohol Counselor:  Nancy Salas, AAC
